Well, she fought it for a year but the headaches kept getting worse all summer long. Bailey went back to the eye doctor today and she picked out her glasses...........................................We started at Clarkson Eye Care for her to be re- exam, but the selection was not what we were wanting. So we left and went to America's Best and she was getting a little more excited cause she got to pick out 2 PAIRS. So the reality of it is starting to grow on her......................She is still really not sure about school with them, I think she is worried about what her friends might say!!!!

Tell her not to worry, she looks great! and if her friend treat he differently were they really friend anyways.

You look awesome in your glasses! I think they make you look really smart (but everybody already knows how smart you are). :) Don't worry about wearing them at school. Do you know that I had 8 kids in my class last year who wore glasses? It's true! By the end of the year, the kids who didn't have glasses were starting to feel left out! If someone teases you about your glasses, just know that they are probably jealous and wish they had some too! I love you AND your new glasses!

I remember when I first got glasses I would take them off everyday when I got to school. I couldn't see ANYTHING and my sight kept getting worse and worse. Tell her that I think she looks fabulous and sophisticated in her new glasses and not to worry about school. Her friends will think she looks awesome!

Awww....Bailey! You look so sophisticated! I wore glasses too in school and when you get old enough you can get contacts! Just remember to wear your glasses everyday because if you don't your eyes will get worse. I learned my lesson on that!

Hopefully you will get to show Reece and Ben before school starts. How about one last weekend at the lake? Wanna come tubing and skiing with us?
